How You Can Help

Support Us

In 2015, Michael G. Velázquez (Founder of Childhood Cancer Hall of Champions) embarked upon a $100,000,000, ten-year fund development effort in support of childhood cancer patients and their families.

Our first milestone is to secure the first $12,000

These funds will be used to:

  • Support the development of this website, where we celebrate stories of families, and induct children to the Childhood Cancer Hall of Champions

  • Develop and moderate our virtual community (during COVID-19): The Childhood Cancer Hall of Champions Facebook group

  • Produce the Childhood Cancer Hall of Champions Podcast, where children and their families tell us their stories

  • Offer resources families can access for free, including webinars with experts

Then, we will continue working towards the first $1,000,000

After securing the first $12,000, the funds raised will be used to:

  • Build a first-of-its-kind National Hall of Champions and Learning Center on Childhood Cancer, a physical location to celebrate the lives of these families and their children

  • Organize in-person gatherings when it is appropriate (after COVID-19) where families can come together and support one another

Every six months we will reveal details of this funding and publish with full transparency on this website
